The highly spread out remote environment of today has created new challenges for IT Professionals. With employees untethered and not behind the defenses of a traditional office, effective risk management becomes crucial.
In my conversation with Adam Gordon, Edutainer & SME at ITProTV, he is in favor of having a zero-trust architecture across the board to manage risk.
While a zero-trust architecture reduces an organization’s risk exposure in this “perimeter-less” world, it should be re-labeled as a framework given that it’s a collection of many different things.
Adam says, “That’s where our focus has been to create our protection perimeters and our abilities to carve out safe zones on either side and perhaps between those perimeters, as we envision technology.”
